The outdoor skills programs provided by AGFC cover a wide range of hunting-related activities, including archery, game-calling, hunting, shotgun and rifle marksmanship and becoming an outdoors-woman (BOW), each catered to specific skill levels from beginner to intermediate, advanced and expert. Free, instructor-led hunter education classes.The instructor-led classes are a great way to meet other new hunters, but hunter education is offered in two formats. Hunter education is a great opportunity for those interested in hunting to learn the basics about hunter ethics, equipment, wildlife ID, habitat conservation, firearm safety, outdoor skills, regulations, and successful hunting techniques.
